4.7 thousand cases of COVID were detected in Russia with 2 thousand hospitalizations

In RUSSIA, 4.7 thousand infected with CORONAVIRUS were detected per day, 2060 people were hospitalized during this period, according to the data of the operational headquarters. The number of hospitalized compared to the previous day, when 2503 people were admitted to hospitals, decreased by 17.7%.

Over the past 24 hours, 6455 cured people have been discharged, 91 people have died from coronavirus.

In Moscow, 368 cases of coronavirus were detected over the past day, 128 people were hospitalized. 332 residents of the capital recovered after treatment for coronavirus, 14 people with pneumonia and a positive test for coronavirus died.

The day before, 4,850 new infections and 93 deaths from covid-19 were detected in Russia .

Last week, the HEAD of the World HEALTH Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said the pandemic was “certainly not over” and it was risky to lower protective measures. He also criticized the refusal to test for coronavirus as the rate of infection is rising in 70 countries around the world.
