In Russia, 113,122 new cases of CORONAVIRUS infection have been detected over the past day, the operational headquarters reports. The number of cases of COVID-19 per day for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic has become six figures.

On January 28, 14,570 people with coronavirus were hospitalized. Another 668 patients died.

The largest number of cases was recorded in Moscow (26,488), St. Petersburg (14,939) and the Moscow region (10,725).

More than 2 thousand new cases were detected in five regions of Russia:

Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - 2,978; Perm Territory - 2,588; Sverdlovsk region - 2,562; Yakutia - 2,506; Voronezh region - 2,101.
