More than 8 thousand cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia for the third day in a row

Over the past day, 8,419 new cases of coronavirus infection have been diagnosed in Russia, the operational headquarters reports.

During the day, 334 people died from among the sick people.

Exceeding the level of 8 thousand cases per day has been recorded for three days. Prior to this, from May 4 to May 6, the number of new COVID cases in Russia was below this level.

The head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that vaccination against coronavirus in Russia is going according to plan. When asked whether collective immunity would be formed in Russia in September, the minister answered in the affirmative: "It will be provided."
