The Ministry of HEALTH of RUSSIA proposed to abandon the mass vaccination against COVID-19 in connection with the stabilization of the epidemic situation. The draft order is published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
“In connection with the formation of a high level of collective immunity against the new CORONAVIRUS infection COVID-19 and the stabilization of the epidemic situation associated with the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, it is advisable to switch from mass vaccination to vaccination of vulnerable categories of citizens in the Russian Federation,” the explanatory note says.
Will still vaccinate:
citizens over 18 years of age who have not recovered from COVID-19 and / or have not been vaccinated; citizens aged 60 and over; citizens with chronic diseases, including diseases of the bronchopulmonary system, tuberculosis, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus and obesity; citizens with primary or secondary immunodeficiencies, including HIV infection, autoimmune diseases, oncological / oncohematological diseases.Until now, people over 60 years of age, social workers, people with chronic diseases were subject to priority vaccination.
