Russia proposes to give three days off after vaccination against COVID-19

Employers must provide employees with paid days off after each round of covid-19 vaccinations . This proposal was made at the Institute for Social Research and the Development of Civic Initiatives (ISIRGI), RIA Novosti reports.

“I ask you to consider the possibility of introducing an obligation for employers to provide all employees who have been vaccinated with three mandatory paid days off,” the DIRECTOR of the institute, Maxim Petunin, said in a statement.

The corresponding letter was sent to the HEAD of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov, speakers of the Federation Council and the State Duma Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, the agency writes.

The authors of the initiative believe that the inability to get vaccination days off and the fear of a strong immune response make an entire layer of the working population unprotected.
