The coronavirus is most spread among children, said Tatyana Ruzhentsova, Deputy Director for Clinical Work of the G. N. Gabrichevsky Moscow Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Rospotrebnadzor. The broadcast was conducted by the TV channel "Russia-1".

“There is a very low level of immunity [from COVID-19] among children, and it is in these groups, the unvaccinated groups, that we see both the greatest prevalence and the most severe course,” she said.

In August, the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that children were getting sick with the coronavirus more often as it became “more aggressive.”

When children become ill with coronavirus, a complication similar to frostbite - “covid fingers” can occur, said Alexander Gorelov, deputy director for research at the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, in early January. According to him, minors may have problems with the work of the gastrointestinal tract. After the disease, problems with the kidneys, liver, cardiovascular system and respiratory organs are not excluded.
