Rospotrebnadzor explained the refusal to publish data on vaccination

The official covid-19 portal Stopcoronavirus.rf will no longer publish data on vaccination and herd immunity, since these statistics were used mainly for planning restrictions, and at the moment this practice is no longer needed, the deputy DIRECTOR of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology told Kommersant Rospotrebnadzor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Gorelov.
Previously, the site published data on the number of people who underwent full and primary vaccination, as well as on the level of herd immunity. Now there are only statistics on daily detected cases, as well as the number of hospitalizations and the number of people who have recovered over the past day.
According to Gorelov, a certain level of collective immunity has already been achieved in RUSSIA, supported by several factors, and the CORONAVIRUS is “gradually acquiring the features of a seasonal respiratory pathology.”
The Stopcoronavirus.rf website stated that statistics on vaccination and herd immunity would no longer be published “in the context of the dynamic emergence of new variants of SARS-CoV-2, changes in the clinical picture and a decrease in the severity of the course of the disease.” Information on the number of people who have been vaccinated against coronavirus will be periodically published by the Ministry of HEALTH "along with data on influenza vaccination."
According to the operational headquarters on March 12, 11,985 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia over the past day, 758 people were admitted to hospitals with this diagnosis, 37 died.
