In the region, the majority of patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed with ARVI per day

In the Kaliningrad region, 51 out of 65 new cases of CORONAVIRUS infection occurs in the form of SARS, in three - in the form of pneumonia, another 11 are asymptomatic. This is reported by the regional headquarters.

Among the sick: four students (BFU, KSTU), 10 pensioners, 2 HEALTH workers, 3 employees of industrial enterprises, 11 entrepreneurs, 16 non-working residents. Also, the infection was confirmed in 8 employees of trade and public catering enterprises, 6 employees of transport companies, and two employees of the service sector. One infected person was identified in an educational institution, a cultural institution, and a food industry enterprise.

Since the start of the pandemic, 727,924 residents have been tested for coronavirus in the region. Of these, the infection was detected in 34,016 people, 32,880 were ill, and 532 patients died. 2,122 people remain under medical supervision.

Since the start of vaccination, the region has received 145,177 vaccine dose sets. 125,287 people were vaccinated, of which 100,040 were vaccinated twice, the headquarters reported.

As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, on June 3, 50 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the region, on June 4 - 59 infections, on June 5 - 65. The day before, on June 7, 68 new cases of infection were confirmed in the region.
