The list of categories for mandatory vaccination against COVID has been expanded in the region

In the Novosibirsk region, the list of certain professional categories of citizens subject to mandatory vaccination has been expanded. Now it includes couriers and hotel employees, the press service of the regional government said.

This list was expanded at the initiative of the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the Novosibirsk region by a separate resolution. For additional professional categories, special vaccination periods have been established.

“These include citizens engaged in activities to provide places for temporary residence (hotels, hostels, hostels) and the delivery of food, non-food products, catering products to the population,” the message says.

These two professional categories need to deliver the first component of the vaccine by December 17 of the current year, and complete the vaccination course by January 17, 2022. Otherwise, the employer will have to remove them from work or transfer them to remote mode.

Since October 12, compulsory vaccination of certain categories of residents has been introduced in the Novosibirsk Region. The measure applies to employees of shops, beauty salons, fitness, personal services, catering, client departments of financial organizations, post offices, multifunctional centers, transport, social security and housing and communal services. Also, those who work in theaters, cinemas, concert halls and at sporting events are subject to mandatory vaccination.
