
In the Kaliningrad region, 192 out of 230 patients diagnosed over the past day have an infection in the form of acute respiratory viral infections, 16 have pneumonia, and 22 more people are asymptomatic. This is reported by the regional operational headquarters.
Among the sick children: a preschooler under six years old, a kindergarten student, a school student and seven students (BFU, RANEPA, KMRC, BIT, a business college and an Olympic reserve school).
Among adult patients: 30 pensioners, 54 entrepreneurs, 54 non-working citizens, three HEALTH workers, five specialists from educational institutions. The infection was also confirmed in 23 employees of trade and public catering enterprises, 14 employees of industrial enterprises, 13 employees of transport enterprises, six employees of banks, three employees of the food industry, four employees of household companies, four employees of agricultural enterprises and two security guards, a shift worker. One infected person was identified at a housing and communal services enterprise, in a sanatorium, cultural and leisure institutions, and a telecommunications company.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 809,199 people have been examined for covid-19 . Of these, the infection was detected in 39,470 people, 37,403 recovered, 572 died. 8,164 remain under medical supervision.
As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, in the region until September 1, mandatory vaccination was extended for certain categories of citizens - service sector employees, civil servants and educators.
