Primorye introduced new restrictions due to the increase in the number of cases of COVID-19

In Primorsky Krai, due to an increase in the number of cases of CORONAVIRUS infection, the occupancy of theaters, cinemas and other cultural institutions has been reduced to 50%. Corresponding restrictions in the region were introduced by the governor Oleg Kozhemyako, the press service of the government reports.

In addition, the authorities urged employers to transfer at least 30% of workers 65 and older to remote work, as well as citizens with cardiovascular diseases, endocrine diseases and other HEALTH problems, as well as pregnant women. The restrictions also affected public catering, cafes and restaurants were forbidden to serve customers from 2:00 to 6:00.

According to the regional headquarters for the fight against coronavirus, as of June 23, the total number of cases of covid-19 in Primorye is 45,932 people. Over the past day, 110 new cases have been confirmed.

Earlier, the Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, said that he
did not exclude the tightening of restrictive measures in the region amid the spread of COVID-19. “Hospitalization is high today, doctors are working very hard,” Vorobyov said. “Everything that concerns public places – if we see high numbers, we will introduce restrictions there,” he said.
