In the Solnechnogorsk regional hospital, the medical documents of a patient who suffered a stroke were confused with the documents of a deceased patient. This was reported to RBC in the press service of the Ministry of HEALTH of the Moscow Region.
The Ministry of Health noted that the hospital is conducting an inspection after the medical documents of patients were mixed up.
The press service added that relatives are aware of what happened. “The patient will be provided with all the necessary legal assistance in paperwork, as well as offered medical rehabilitation in a leading specialized clinic,” the report says.
As they said in the department, the attending physician was suspended from work for the duration of the check. “Based on its results, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of employees and, if necessary, administrative measures will be taken,” the Moscow Region Ministry of Health said.
Earlier, the Baza TELEGRAM channel reported that on May 12, Grigory Vasilyev was taken to the Solnechnogorsk regional hospital with a diagnosis of stroke, and five days later his relatives were informed that he had died. When they were given the body of the deceased in the morgue, it turned out that this man did not look like Vasiliev, but he was buried anyway. Later it turned out that Vasilyev was alive. He was lying in the ward with an elderly man who looked like him, and the hospital employee forgot to report that she had switched places on the beds.
