“If you take people who are lying, then about 8-10% are those people who either got vaccinated or got sick before,” she said.

She added that the free bed fund for patients with coronavirus infection in the Moscow region is no more than 11%. Within three weeks, the region's hospitalization rate rose by 40%, she said.

On the same day, the governor of the region, Andrey Vorobyov, imposed restrictions on mass events until July 20 due to an increase in the number of cases.

According to the operational headquarters, 292.3 thousand cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the Moscow region over the entire period of the pandemic. Of this number, 239.8 thousand recovered, 6.3 thousand people died.
