The PFR explained the reasons for errors in the calculation of pensions

Incorrect data in the work book can cause incorrect calculation of pensions, the press service of the Pension Fund of RUSSIA (PFR) said.

“In the existing documents, there are errors - for example, the position in the work book is incorrectly indicated or there is no seal. And this can affect both the size of the pension and, in principle, its appointment, ”the department explained.

To avoid such situations, the FIU recommended contacting the agency in advance so that specialists can check all available documents and, if necessary, request missing information from a previous employer, archive or social security authorities of another state.
