Petersburg cancels QR codes

From March 4, the requirement to present QR codes when visiting public places, including restaurants, will be lifted in St. Petersburg. This was reported by Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Boris Piotrovsky in his TELEGRAM channel. Corresponding changes were made to 121 resolutions of the government of St. Petersburg.

So, from March 4, without a QR code, you can visit restaurants, museums, theaters, circuses, concert halls and cinemas, other leisure facilities, swimming pools and fitness centers, hotels, shops, holiday homes, sports, physical culture, congress and exhibition events, as well as solemn registration of marriage and birth. Restrictions on the occupancy of restaurants, swimming pools and fitness centers, shops, ice rinks, oceanariums, amusement parks, water parks are removed.

From the same date, it is not required to coordinate with the executive power of St. Petersburg the holding of events for up to 100 people. At the same time, the maximum number of visitors to theaters, circuses, concert halls and cinemas cannot exceed 2 thousand people.

Also, from March 4, the requirement for organizations to transfer employees over the age of 60 to a remote work mode, as well as employees with chronic diseases, is canceled, and the recommendation for them to comply with the self-isolation regime is no longer valid.

The remaining restrictions, including the mandatory wearing of masks in public places, are extended until April 30.
