Petersburg opened an appointment for vaccination against COVID-19 for teenagers

In St. Petersburg , an appointment has been opened for vaccination of adolescents aged 12-17 against CORONAVIRUS, according to the website of the city HEALTH committee.

Children will be vaccinated in district clinics with the Sputnik M preparation specially developed for adolescents. Adolescents aged 12–15 years will be vaccinated with the written permission of their parents or official representatives, adolescents over 15 years of age give voluntary consent themselves.

Before vaccination, the child will be examined by a pediatrician. After the introduction of the vaccine, he must be under medical supervision for half an hour, the report said.

Since St. Petersburg received a limited amount of the vaccine, the committee recommended that first of all, children with chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, organs of vision, digestion or blood circulation, as well as the endocrine system be vaccinated.
