Managers will be able to suspend residents of St. Petersburg over 60 from work without pay if they refuse to be vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS. This is stated in the press service of the regional administration.

“If an employee evades vaccination, the employer has the right to suspend the employee from work without pay until the end of the period of sanitary and epidemiological trouble,” the publication says. If such an employee is not removed, the employer faces administrative liability.

Together with people over 60, the list includes workers in industrial, processing and transport enterprises and those who have chronic diseases. They must make the first vaccination against covid-19 by November 15, the second by January 15, the regional Rospotrebnadzor explained.
