The Perm Territory recorded a daily record for deaths from COVID

Over the past day in the Perm region, CORONAVIRUS infection was detected in 701 people. During this period, 42 people died from covid-19 - a new daily record. During the entire period of the pandemic in the region, 6,209 patients died from coronavirus. The total number of infected people in the Perm region has reached 127,567.
To date, 482 patients are in serious condition in hospitals in the Perm Territory repurposed for treatment of COVID-19. Of these, 223 are connected to ventilators.
According to the Ministry of HEALTH of the Perm Territory, since the beginning of mass vaccination in the region, more than a million residents of the region have been vaccinated with the first component. Of these, 698,000 have completed the course of immunization - they have received the first and second components. The share of cases of covid among those vaccinated is 0.5%.
