More than 1.5 thousand cases of COVID were detected in the Perm Territory per day

Over the past day in the Perm region, CORONAVIRUS infection was detected in 1578 people. 122 residents of the region were hospitalized - a maximum in September. Among the infected are 321 residents aged 60 years and older, who are at risk. Not a single patient died from covid-19 in a day.

During the entire period of the pandemic in the region, 8,887 patients died from coronavirus. The total number of infected people in the Perm Territory has reached 408,518.

According to the Ministry of HEALTH of the Perm Territory, since the beginning of mass vaccination in the region, 1.47 million residents of the region have been vaccinated with the first component. Of these, 1.39 million have completed the course of immunization - they have received the first and second components.

As of August 12, Perm Krai does not fully meet the criteria for a “COVID-19-free” region, and herd immunity is 6.1%.
