More than 70 new cases of COVID-19 detected in the Perm Territory

Over the past day in the Perm region, coronavirus infection was detected in 71 people. Among those infected, 21 residents are aged 60 and older.

Not a single patient died from COVID-19 in a day. During the entire period of the pandemic in the region, 8,847 patients died from coronavirus. The total number of infected people in the Perm region has reached 372,594.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Perm Territory, since the beginning of mass vaccination in the region, 1.47 million residents of the region have been vaccinated with the first component. Of these, 1.4 million have completed the course of immunization - they received the first and second components. Herd immunity in the Kama region does not meet the criteria of a “COVID-free region” and amounts to 12.4%.
