Over the past day in the Perm region, coronavirus infection was detected in 1847 people. 98 residents of the region were hospitalized. Among the infected are 437 residents aged 60 and older who are at risk. Four patients died from COVID-19 in a day.

During the entire period of the pandemic in the region, 8,891 patients died from coronavirus. The total number of infected people in the Perm region has reached 410,392.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Perm Territory, since the beginning of mass vaccination in the region, 1.47 million residents of the region have been vaccinated with the first component. Of these, 1.39 million have completed the course of immunization - they have received the first and second components. To date, 251,738 COVID-19 vaccine kits are available in the Kama region.

As of August 12, Perm Krai does not fully meet the criteria for a “COVID-19-free” region, and herd immunity is 6.1%.
