In the Perm Territory, children's incidence of COVID increased by 42%

Over the past day in the Perm region, CORONAVIRUS infection was detected in 1,714 people. Of these, more than 500 are children. Since January 24, the number of new cases of covid-19 infection among children has increased by 42%.

Of the new patients, 168 people are vaccinated. During this period, 9 people died from COVID-19. Over the entire period of the pandemic in the region, 7,757 patients died from coronavirus. The total number of infected in the Perm Territory has reached 175,111.

To date, in the Perm Territory, 163 patients are in serious condition in hospitals repurposed for treatment from COVID-19, 71 are connected to ventilators. Among the severe patients, 7 were vaccinated.

According to the Ministry of HEALTH of the Perm Territory, since the beginning of mass vaccination in the region, more than 1.35 million residents of the region have been vaccinated with the first component. Of these, more than 1.28 million have completed the course of immunization - they have received the first and second components. The share of available beds is 26.2%.
