Paris police fired tear gas at demonstrators who had gathered to protest after Emmanuel Macron's victory in the presidential election, REUTERS reports, citing publications on social networks.
According to the agency, the police tried to disperse the crowd, which was mostly young people, in the central area of the French capital Châtelet.
