The protests took place on the Place de la République, located in the center of the French capital, clashes between protesters and police began. After several such conflicts, the security forces used gas.
As a result of the clashes, one soldier of the police special forces was injured. He had to be evacuated from Republic Square. In total, at least three law enforcement officers were injured during the protests.
