The operational headquarters revealed the details of a possible mandatory vaccination in the region

The Novosibirsk Region’s operational headquarters for combating covid-19 said that the issue of introducing mandatory vaccination is now being considered. First of all, categories of citizens associated with direct contact with people may fall under mandatory vaccination.

“Specialists note an insufficient level of vaccination, for example, among workers in transport, housing and communal services, trade, catering, the service sector and financial workers. In the case of the introduction of mandatory vaccination, the list of categories of citizens is determined by the decision of the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the region, ”the response of the operational headquarters prepared for RBC Novosibirsk says.

The day before, at a meeting of the operational headquarters, the HEAD of the Novosibirsk Rospotrebnadzor, Alexander Shcherbatov, at an operational meeting with the governor, stated that for two weeks in the region there has been an increase in the number of detected cases of COVID-19 simultaneously with a seasonal rise in the incidence of SARS.

At the end of September, the region became aware of the extension of restrictive measures introduced in connection with the spread of CORONAVIRUS in the Novosibirsk region: the mask regime was extended, the requirement to maintain social distance and restrictions on the occupancy of halls in cultural organizations.
