In Nizhny Novgorod, a nurse is suspected of forging COVID-certificates

In Nizhny Novgorod, six people were detained on suspicion of entering false information about vaccination against CORONAVIRUS infection into the state information system. This was reported in the Investigative Committee of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to investigators, a nurse working at a polyclinic in the Sovetsky district of Nizhny Novgorod entered false information about vaccination against the new covid-19 into the database under a false profile . Investigators believe that five other people, including employees of travel companies, were accomplices in the crime. 

"The investigation has information about the suspects entering false data on vaccination without actually carrying out more than 50 citizens. All the suspects were detained. Their illegal actions were identified and suppressed by the investigators of the Investigative Committee in cooperation with the operational officers of the FSB in the region," the Investigative Committee said in a statement.

The criminal investigation is ongoing.
