In Moscow, 3,188 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection were detected per day, according to the data of the operational headquarters for combating infection. This is the lowest number of cases since June 6, when 2936 cases were detected.

On July 18, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the epidemic situation in Moscow remains difficult, but the number of cases of COVID-19 has halved in a month compared to the peak. He noted that this was achieved thanks to the measures taken against COVID-19 and the awareness of Muscovites, and expressed the hope that the situation would improve in the coming days.
