
Moscow doctors have already made 1.5 million preliminary diagnoses using artificial intelligence (AI), a medical decision support system. It has become available in the regions. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova, according to a statement on the website of the mayor's office.
“Moscow continues to share its developments with the regions. At the end of last year, we opened access to doctors from all over Russia to our development for diagnosing COVID-19 - a CT calculator. We see demand, doctors actively use the service,” said Rakova. She noted that thanks to this system, 1.5 million preliminary diagnoses were made in Moscow.
Regional doctors will be able to get acquainted with the system on the website of the Moscow Department of Health in the “For Specialists” section.

This is a digital solution developed by SberMedII together with the Moscow government. During the pandemic, they collected the necessary amount of data to train the AI algorithm. The digital assistant has been introduced in all adult polyclinics of the city since October 2020. The system suggests the three most likely patient diagnoses based on their complaints.
