Moscow allowed employees and students to visit canteens without QR codes

Student and office canteens in Moscow can be visited without presenting a QR code confirming the presence of protection against CORONAVIRUS infection, follows from the decree of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The requirement to check QR codes for visitors will not apply to canteens, buffets and cafes for employees of organizations and individual entrepreneurs, as well as to public catering establishments operating for students and teachers.

At the same time, only students or employees of this university or enterprise should have access to canteens.

Without QR codes, Moscow was also allowed to visit summer cafes and catering verandas, but only until July 12. At the same time, the decree released from the obligation to present QR codes to guests of hotels, hostels, etc., who are sent to cafes located in “accommodation facilities”.

A QR code is considered proof of “protection against coronavirus”, confirming either the course of vaccination against covid-19 , or an illness that has been transferred in the last six months, or the presence of a fresh (not older than three days) document on a negative test.
