More than 90 people died of coronavirus in Moscow for the 39th day in a row

Over the past day, 93 people have died from CORONAVIRUS in Moscow, the operational headquarters said. The city's covid-19 death toll has surpassed the 90 mark since October 27, when 91 people died.

The death toll from COVID-19 has been rising in Moscow since September 23, when authorities recorded 54 deaths. Since then, the figure has not decreased, on November 6 it reached 98 cases.

According to the operational headquarters, more than 34.5 thousand people have died from COVID-19 in Moscow during the entire period of the pandemic. The authorities have identified more than 1.95 million cases of infection. The level of herd immunity in the city, which reflects the number of people who recovered from the coronavirus, vaccinated and revaccinated people, as of December 3, was 72.1%.

After the introduction of non-working days, which took place in Moscow from October 28 to November 7, the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin, said that the number of new cases of COVID-19 infections decreased by 23%, and the number of hospitalizations decreased by 19%.
