The Ministry of Health ruled out the negative impact of vaccination on pregnancy

Vaccination against CORONAVIRUS does not affect pregnancy and fetal HEALTH, Leila Adamyan, chief freelance specialist in gynecology at the Ministry of Health and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

“There are 147 thousand births in the world in those women who did not know that they were pregnant, and they were vaccinated <...> Vaccination does not affect pregnancy, the fetus,” said Adamyan.

The DOCTOR also added that antibodies pass through the placenta and reach the fetus, protecting the baby from coronavirus infection. According to her, the child can also receive protection from infection from a vaccinated mother during breastfeeding.

Adamyan noted that there are no arguments that would not allow women to be vaccinated both before pregnancy and during it. She added that women in labor who are hospitalized with coronavirus often experience problems with the respiratory system, pressure, they often give birth prematurely and do not bear the fetus until the required time.
