The Ministry of Health of Bashkiria named the number of medical workers who recovered from COVID

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Bashkiria, 10,844 medical workers have been infected with the CORONAVIRUS. This was reported to RBC Ufa in the Republican Ministry of HEALTH. Of all cases detected in the region, doctors accounted for 27.4%.

The department noted that employees who work directly with COVID-positive patients and patients with suspected infection are most at risk of infection. “That is, medical workers in primary health care, medical workers in covid hospitals and emergency medical units,” the department commented.

43 healthcare workers have died from covid-19 , six of them in 2021. According to the Ministry of Health, 19 thousand doctors have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the infection has been confirmed in 39,469 patients, according to the Bashkiria headquarters for combating COVID-19. 37,353 people have recovered from Covid-19. 542 patients have died.

As RBC Ufa reported, in 2020 in Bashkiria, more than 8 thousand doctors were infected with the coronavirus while on duty. This is 42% of all cases of the disease detected in the region until the end of December last year.
