The Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of more than 300 terrorists in Syria

Since April 23, Syrian military personnel, with the support of the Russian Aerospace Forces, have destroyed 338 terrorists, as well as over 80 terrorist facilities and shelters that were located on the territory of Syria. This was reported to RBC by a representative of the Russian group of troops in Syria.

“Since April 23, 338 militants of terrorist groups have been liquidated and 44 have been detained, 20 have been captured and six pieces of equipment have been disabled, 38 objects and 45 shelters have been destroyed,” the representative of the group of troops said.

According to the agency, the military found 26 caches, more than 21.5 tons of ammunition, as well as seven tons of materiel and other property of terrorists. The representative also noted that as a result of special operations, terrorist attacks against military personnel and civilians were prevented.

In early May, Acting Inspector General Sean O Donnell of the US Department of Defense reported to Congress that the Russian military repeatedly violated the terms of a conflict prevention agreement with the US-led anti-terrorist coalition in northeast Syria during the first three months of 2021.
