In the Magadan region allowed the introduction of mandatory vaccination

In the Magadan region, if the epidemiological situation worsens, the authorities will consider introducing mandatory vaccination for certain groups of the population. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of HEALTH and Demographic Policy of the Magadan Region Elena Kuzmenko, her words were conveyed to RBC by the information policy department of the department.

“If the epidemiological situation worsens, the issue of introducing mandatory immunization for certain groups of the population will be considered,” she said. Vaccination may be required for workers in the public utilities, transport, food industry, culture and sports, Kuzmenko added.

As the Deputy Minister noted, there is a slight increase in the incidence of CORONAVIRUS in the region, it is planned to strengthen restrictive measures and expand testing of the population for covid-19 .

The press service of the government of the Irkutsk region, in turn, said that at the moment they are not planning or discussing the adoption of measures for mandatory vaccination.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree on mandatory vaccination of 60% of employees in the services, trade, catering, transport, healthcare, housing and communal services, education and culture sectors.

Employers must ensure that their employees receive the first component of the vaccine by July 15, and the second component by August 15. On July 15, checks on the implementation of Sobyanin's decree will begin.

Violators of these regulations will face fines: for individual entrepreneurs - up to 50 thousand rubles, for organizations - up to 300 thousand rubles. In case of repeated violation, the amount of the fine may increase to 1 million rubles.

Following the example of Moscow, mandatory vaccination for certain groups of the population was introduced in the Moscow region, Kuzbass and Sakhalin. Such measures are not excluded in the Amur region if the epidemiological situation worsens.
