
The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the village of Novoaydar from the Tochka-U tactical missile system, the representative office of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime (JCCC) reported on Telegram.
“From the side of the armed formations of Ukraine, shelling was recorded: at 19:15 from the direction of the settlement of Severodonetsk towards the settlement of Novoaidar, using the Tochka-U tactical missile system,” the statement said.

As a result of the shelling, at least one woman, born in 1991, was killed, the People's Militia of the LPR reported "casualties among the civilian population" after the strike, without specifying the number.
Earlier, on April 8, the headquarters of the territorial defense of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) announced a missile attack on the city of Kramatorsk, which is controlled by Ukrainian troops. The fragments of the Tochka-U rocket fell near the station, where the population was being evacuated. Eduard Basurin, deputy head of the People's Militia Department of the DPR, said that 30 people were killed and about 100 more were injured.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky accused the troops of the DPR and the Russian army of the attack on Kramatorsk, the Russian Defense Ministry called this statement a provocation. At the same time, Basurin noted that the DPR and LPR do not have Tochka-U complexes in service. This information was confirmed by the Investigative Committee, the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to investigate the circumstances of the missile attack.
The Russian Ministry of Defense then clarified that the station from the area of the city of Dobropolye (located 55 km from Kramatorsk) fired at the Ukrainian division.
