In the Krasnodar Territory, 96 cases of COVID-19 were detected in 27 municipalities

As of May 28, 96 more people fell ill with coronavirus in the Krasnodar Territory. New cases have been confirmed in 27 municipalities, the press service of the regional administration reports.

In Krasnodar, the infection was confirmed in 19 people, in the Dinskoy district - in 12. Nine cases in Sochi, six in Gelendzhik. Four positive results each in the Tuapse region, Armavir and Novorossiysk. Three each - in Anapa, Yeisk, Kushchevsky, Primorsko-Akhtarsky and Tikhoretsky districts.

Two cases each were registered in Uspensky, Korenovsky, Belorechensky, Vyselkovsky, Kurganinsky, Krasnoarmeisky, Starominsky and Novokubansky districts. One each - in Apsheronsky, Labinsk, Leningradsky, Slavyansky, Timashevsky, Ust-Labinsky and Gulkevichsky.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of people infected with coronavirus has reached 48,141, and 43,167 have recovered. Deaths in the region have risen to 2,991, 11 of them in the last day.

According to the regional Ministry of Health, 1,048 patients with coronavirus infection are being treated in hospitals, 935 at home. 47 people are in serious condition on artificial lung ventilation, and 3 more are on ECMO.
