In Krasnodar, 381,010 people were vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS infection, which is 47% of the adult population. Svetlana Kharlamova, HEAD of the department for the protection of the HEALTH of citizens, announced this at an operational meeting of the mayor's office.

“381 thousand is already quite a big figure. I would like to once again thank all Krasnodar residents who have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection. This will protect both Krasnodar residents and those around them – this is very important,” Mayor Evgeny Pervyshov commented.

In general, the vaccination plan in the regional capital was completed by 78%. According to Svetlana Kharlamova, the epidemiological situation in Krasnodar remains tense. As of August 16, the presence of coronavirus infection was laboratory confirmed in 18,043 people, of which 15,198 people recovered. In infectious diseases hospitals, 847 people continue to receive treatment with a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis.

According to the press service of the city administration, there are six mobile points in Krasnodar. On the basis of polyclinics No. 7, 15 and 25, round-the-clock vaccination points have been created.

As RBC Krasnodar reported, as of August 16, coronavirus infection was confirmed in 253 residents of the region. New cases were identified in 29 municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory.
