China denies reports of plans to recognize vaccines with Russia

Media information that Russia and the People's Republic of China have agreed on mutual recognition of CORONAVIRUS vaccines is not true. The corresponding message appeared on the website of the Chinese Consulate General in Vladivostok.

Earlier, the Deita news portal, citing Chinese Consul General in Vladivostok Yan Wenbing, reported that China and Russia are preparing to open borders and announce mutual recognition: the Russian Sputnik V and the Chinese CoronaVac.

“The Chinese Consulate General in Vladivostok seriously states that this information is not true. And at present, the Consulate General does not have any information on this matter, ”the PRC representative office said in a statement.
