At the same time, the number of hospitalizations and deaths does not show such dynamics. Over the past 24 hours, 18 people have been hospitalized, a month ago this figure was 6. The number of deaths per day is zero, over the past 30 days 5 people have died from coronavirus. Over the past 24 hours, 47 people have been discharged.

In general, since the beginning of the pandemic, 168,270 Kaliningraders have recovered, 171,122 have fallen ill. Doctors have recorded 1,935 deaths.

Earlier, the chief sanitary doctor of the region, Elena Babur, said that 97% of the diseases of the current virus occur in milder forms.

As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, an increase in the incidence of coronavirus is quite expected, primarily due to an increase in visitors to the region in the summer months, the head of Rospotrebnadzor noted.
