In India, called the timing of the start of vaccination of children against coronavirus

India will start vaccinating children against COVID-19 this September. This was stated by the head of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Randip Guleria, reports the NDTV channel.

According to him, the Indian company Zydus Cadila has already tested and is now waiting for permission. “Trials of Covaxin from Bharat Biotech should be completed by August or September and we should have approval by then,” Guleria said. “Hopefully, by September we will start vaccinating children, and this will be a great incentive to break the chain of transmission,” added Guleria.

Children were divided into three age groups for vaccine trials, according to The Times of India. The first trial is in a group of children aged 12 to 18 years old, then from six to 12 years old, now trials are being conducted for children aged two to six years.
