The State Duma proposed to pay extra to pensioners for vaccination

At the federal level, there is no benefit for pensioners who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 , the feasibility of its introduction should be assessed, according to a letter from State Duma deputy Vasily Vlasov (LDPR) to Labor Minister Anton Kotyakov, writes RT.

“I ask you to evaluate the feasibility of introducing a federal lump-sum allowance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. for citizens receiving an old-age pension for undergoing the COVID-19 vaccination procedure, ”the letter says.

The payment can encourage the elderly to be vaccinated, the deputy believes.
