In Germany, 100,000 people received an erroneous vaccination notification

More than 100,000 residents of the federal state of Brandenburg, who received only one vaccination against COVID-19 , mistakenly received confirmation of full vaccination, according to BZ Berlin.

According to the publication, as of June 16, about 460,000 residents of the state of Brandenburg received electronic confirmation from the local Ministry of Health that they had been fully vaccinated against coronavirus at the vaccination center or with the help of a mobile brigade. However, according to BZ Berlin, at that time, about 350,000 recipients of the letters were fully vaccinated. The rest of the residents received only one dose of the drug, they were sent an email with a QR code by mistake.

“It is undeniably unfortunate and I regret it. Obviously, this is a failure of the Association of Physicians of Compulsory Health Insurance, which runs vaccination centers, and should only send a QR code to people who have been vaccinated twice,” said Ursula Nonnemacher, Minister of Health of the region.

Germany canceled two-week quarantine for those arriving from Russia Society

As of the end of June, more than 50% of the country's population had already been vaccinated in Germany. Also, the country was freed from social restrictions that impose a ban on mass gatherings or the use of certain types of services (for example, hairdressers) vaccinated against COVID-19 or recovered from COVID-19. In addition, the curfew does not apply to vaccinated and recovered patients if it is introduced when the epidemiological situation worsens.
