In Dagestan, worship services with parishioners of all faiths are suspended until April 1 due to the spread of the CORONAVIRUS. The corresponding decree was signed by the HEAD of the regional Rospotrebnadzor Nikolai Pavlov.
According to the document, worship services should be held remotely, only clergy and those people whose presence is necessary for the functioning of religious facilities will be able to enter religious buildings. At the same time, the chief sanitary DOCTOR of Dagestan has limited the number of parishioners who can be present at ablutions, weddings, funerals, marriages and other religious ceremonies, no more than four people can visit them.

For the third calendar week of January, more than 1.6 thousand new cases were detected in Dagestan, which is 47.7% more than the data for the second week, then about 1.1 thousand people fell ill, Pavlov said.
Over the entire period of the spread of infection in the republic, more than 70.5 thousand patients with coronavirus have been identified, according to the federal operational headquarters, 3,314 previously ill people have died. On January 27, the infection was detected in 391 people, 236 patients were hospitalized, three people died.
