Chuvashia will introduce QR codes in hypermarkets

In Chuvashia, from January 20, a system of QR codes will be introduced in hypermarkets. The decree on this was signed by the head of the republic Oleg Nikolaev.

This measure will affect hypermarkets with a sales area of ​​more than 1,000 sq. m. m with a mixed assortment. It will be possible to get into them by a QR code, a negative PCR test or a certificate of COVID-19 transferred in the last six months .

42 stores will be subject to restrictions, including 35 in Cheboksary.

As Nikolaev explained, the measure will affect those stores that sell industrial goods, such as clothing or stationery. Restrictions do not apply to stores with essential goods.
