In Chuvashia, a QR code will be developed for people with a high amount of antibodies

The HEAD of Chuvashia, Oleg Nikolaev, instructed the regional Ministry of Digital Transformation to consider the possibility of creating a digital service that would generate a QR code for people who have a certificate of a large number of antibodies in connection with the disease. A message about this was published on the website of the head of the republic.

Currently, citizens who have officially been ill with a CORONAVIRUS infection and have been diagnosed by a DOCTOR can receive QR codes about the covid-19 disease. Those who have been ill with COVID, but have not consulted a doctor, are officially considered not ill. A certificate of the presence of antibodies to coronavirus in the blood is not evidence of an illness.

The press service of the head of the Chuvash Republic explained to RBC that the initiative will make it easier for people who have had a coronavirus infection and received a certificate of illness to receive a QR code to visit catering, shopping centers and other services.

“The order was given to the Chuvash Ministry of Digital Development in order to study the possibility of generating QR codes for those who have had a coronavirus infection. These are the citizens we are talking about. Today, they remain limited in their ability to use the full range of services that are available only upon presentation of a QR code. At the same time, they are not a source of danger from the point of view of the potential spread of coronavirus infection, they have immunity to coronavirus, ”the message says.

The press service explained that if a doctor confirms that a citizen has been ill with COVID, based on an analysis, the citizen must be included in the register of those who have been ill. “On this basis, a QR code can be generated,” the press service told RBC.
