Создание коллективного иммунитета позволит нам стабилизировать эпидситуацию по новой коронавирусной инфекции в республике», — сообщил главный санитарный врач по Бурятии Сергей Ханхареев.

According to the decision of the chief sanitary doctor of Buryatia, mandatory vaccination against coronavirus applies to employees of medical, educational organizations, social services (nursing homes, orphanages, homes for the disabled, social workers for home care), transport workers, transport hubs and housing and communal services (public transport , taxi, airport, bus stations), service workers (trade, catering, food industry), employees (federal, municipal, state authorities of the republic), service workers (hairdressers, ateliers, laundries, dry cleaners, saunas, baths, beauty salons , massage parlors, hotels, camp sites, hotels), cultural, leisure and sports institutions (houses of culture, children's play, entertainment centers, theaters, cinemas, sports centers), for employees of the MFC,client divisions of banks, post offices, unified settlement centers), as well as for students and persons over 65 years of age.

Buryatia became the first Russian region where a lockdown due to the coronavirus was announced in June: all enterprises in the region were suspended for two weeks, except for life-supporting ones, as well as grocery stores, pharmacies, housing and communal services, transport and the media. Since June 11, theaters and cinemas have already been closed in the republic, and the work of shopping centers and food courts has also been limited. On June 14, parks, squares and public areas, swimming pools, massage parlors were closed in Buryatia. Institutions of additional education have been transferred to remote mode. On June 21, restrictions were introduced for catering establishments.

The expansion of compulsory vaccination was announced on June 25 by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova. According to her, soon such measures will be taken in eight other subjects of the country. The authorities began to introduce mandatory vaccination of certain categories of citizens after a sharp increase in the number of cases, the first such decision was made on June 16 by the chief sanitary doctor of Moscow, Elena Andreeva.
