UK reports no COVID-19 deaths for first time since March 2020

No CORONAVIRUS deaths have been reported in the UK over the past 24 hours, according to data from the United Kingdom Department of HEALTH. According to the above statistics, the last time no deaths were recorded was in March 2020, at the very beginning of the pandemic.

In total, more than 127 thousand people died in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, the maximum number of deaths from coronavirus occurred on January 19, when 1.3 thousand people died.

But according to WHO, the maximum number of confirmed deaths from coronavirus occurred on January 21, when more than 1.8 thousand infected people died per day.

Over the past day, more than 3 thousand confirmed cases of the disease were detected, in total almost 4.5 million people were infected in the country.
