In Bashkiria, it will be possible to check into hotels and hotels only upon presentation of a vaccination certificate, a certificate of a CORONAVIRUS transferred within six months, or a medical exemption from vaccination along with a negative PCR test result. The new rules will come into effect on December 1, this decision was made at a meeting of the operational headquarters for combating covid-19 , the press service of the HEAD of the region reports.

The introduction of restrictions in the hotel industry was initiated by the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the republic Anna Kazak. According to the head of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, hotels and tourist camps in Bashkiria are in great demand during the ski season, tourists from all over the country come to them, but there are no requirements for presenting QR codes.

The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, supported the Kazak proposal and instructed to make appropriate changes to the decree on high alert.

According to the DIRECTOR of the Association of Culinary Workers, Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Bashkiria, Natalya Chibrikina, the new restrictions will additionally hit the hotel industry, already affected by the pandemic. The “blow” will be especially noticeable if the measures extend to the period of the New Year holidays.

“Hotels will simply die with such rules. Most of all, this, of course, will affect not Ufa hotels, but ski resorts and country recreation centers, where the high season begins. Now, due to restrictions across the country, there is already a decline in the flow of tourists, and now the situation will worsen. Hotels were waiting for December and January to somehow improve the financial situation. We will negotiate with representatives of the industry, perhaps we will turn to the head of the region with a request to postpone the restrictions, ”Chibrikina said.
