In Bashkiria, the work of polyclinics was extended due to the spread of "omicron"

Polyclinics of Bashkiria due to the increase in the incidence of covid-19 will work from 7:30 to 22:00 seven days a week. Medical facilities will switch to the new mode from Monday, January 31. This decision was made at a meeting of the operational headquarters for the fight against CORONAVIRUS.

Maxim Zabelin, HEAD of the Republican Ministry of HEALTH, proposed extending the opening hours of polyclinics. He said that a 40 percent increase in the number of patients with COVID-19 was recorded in the region over the past week. Most of those infected with the Omicron strain, according to him, carry the disease asymptomatically or in a mild form, hospitalization is not required for patients. The main burden falls on the primary link of medical care.

“All patients should promptly receive primary medical care at their place of residence. A sick person with a fever should not wait for a doctor’s appointment all day,” said the head of the region, Radiy Khabirov.

He instructed the heads of municipalities to control the situation with the provision of primary health care.

In addition, the time for taking tests for PCR studies has been extended. They can be handed in until 19:30. Laboratories subordinate to the Ministry of Health and Rospotrebnadzor will switch to a round-the-clock schedule.
