In Bashkiria, 35 people died from COVID-19 per day

Over the past day in Bashkiria, 35 people have died from CORONAVIRUS infection. The total number of victims of the pandemic in the region has reached 2195. This is reported by the republican operational headquarters for combating covid-19 .

Over the past day, 664 new cases of the disease have been registered in the region, in total, 78,137 residents of the republic have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic. 67,571 people recovered, including 458 who were discharged with recovery over the past day.

In Bashkiria, mass vaccination of the population against coronavirus continues. 1.45 million people in the region were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine, 1.26 million people received the second component. Authorities have said earlier that vaccination rates have risen amid restrictive measures introduced in the region.

As RBC Ufa reported, on Monday, October 18, the third stage of anti-COVID restrictions began to operate in Bashkiria. The corresponding amendments to the republican decree on high alert were signed by the HEAD of the region, Radiy Khabirov, on October 1.

In accordance with the document, in order to visit baths and saunas, solariums, fitness centers, swimming pools, as well as cafes and restaurants (with a capacity of 50 or more people), one of the documents must be presented - a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus, a certificate of transfer during the last six months of illness or a negative PCR test result.
